Your most frequently asked questions answered

Whether you have stayed in a vacation rental before or this is your first time, we know there are bound to be plenty of questions along the way. We want to make it as easy as possible for you to find the information you need to help you choose the right place to stay.

Q: Are there any additional costs when I book a vacation rental?

A: During the booking process you will see all details as cleaning fee and taxes. There are no additional fees to pay except for electricity. Water, internet, baby bed, high chair, kayaks or bicycles (where provided), all included in the rent.

Q: How can I be sure my payments are safe?

A: We accept Credit Cards through Stripe. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor, and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available.

Q: Can I cancel my reservation?

A: We know that plans can change unexpectedly, that is why it is always a good idea to be aware of the cancellation policies in place before you book your reservation. If you need to cancel or amend your booking, you must write to us or email us as soon as possible. Guest may cancel up to 31 days of check in for a 50% refund of the prepayment, up to 30 days of check in 0% refund.

Q: What is included in my vacation rental?

A vacation rental is a great way to enjoy the added comforts of home when you travel. Our rentals are fully equipped with everything you need and more.

  • Fully equipped kitchen: pans, blender, coffee maker, toaster
  • Bedding: extra sheets and pillows
  • Bathrooms: towels, wash cloths, hair dryer, soap
  • Household items: dish towels and cleaning supplies, iron and ironing board
  • Pool area: towels, propane grill
  • Laundry Facilities: laundry soap
  • Starter package toilet paper, household paper

Q: How much money is due when?

A: 30% of the total is due upon reservation and 70% is due 30 days prior to your arrival.

Q: What time is check in? What time is check out?

A: Check in is any time AFTER 4 PM. Please do not arrive early at your vacation rental; we need this time to prepare your vacation home for your stay. Check out is at 10 AM.

Q: How do I get access to the vacation rental home I rent?

A: We will send you an email with the door code approx. 1 week before arrival. At the house you will find a welcome letter with instructions about the check-in, usually the next morning.

Q: What to do when I leave the vacation home?

A: Please place all trash in exterior cans, load and start the dishwashers, clean the grill. At check out time we will be there to say goodbye.

Q: Can I bring my pet?

A: We allow non shedding dogs in some of our homes. Guests are responsible for their pets. Because allowing pets does cause additional wear-and-tear we charge a pet fee of $ 100.

Q: Are the properties non-smoking?

A: Yes, all of our properties are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outside of the property only.

Q: How far is the beach?

A: Cape Coral has its own little beach at the Cape Coral Yacht Club Community Park, reachable in about 10 minutes. Fort Myers Beach is about 30 minutes away. Sanibel Island about 40 minutes and Captiva Island about 50 minutes. There are many more beaches in the Cape Coral area to enjoy the sun.

Q: How far is the closest airport?

A: The closest International Airport is RSW, Fort Myers, about 35 minutes away.
